Sponsorships are a way to signal "support" for the conference. They assist sponsors in advertising. The facilities to the sponsors are the following:
Platinum: A$3,000: one booth, two attendees
Gold: A$2,250: One booth and one attendee OR two attendees
Silver: A$1,500: One attendee
The sponsors get recognized in the proceedings, flyer, and conference booklet. The recognition in the proceedings lasts forever because copies are placed in libraries and are kept by authors of the articles.
