Alessandro Carbonari is Full Professor at the Department of Civil and Building Engineering and Architecture (DICEA) of Università Politecnica delle Marche (Ancona, Italy).
He is Scientific Director of the Digital Construction Capability Centre (DC3), a research and demonstration laboratory dedicated to advanced digital technologies for construction.
His research focuses on Building Information Modelling, Digital Twins, cyber-physical systems, artificial intelligence, Bayesian models and intelligent decision-support systems for construction and facility management.
He is one of the members of the Board of Directors of the International Association for Automation and Robotics in Construction (IAARC) and has contributed extensively to research on automation and computing in construction.
Author or co-author of more than 180 scientific contributions, his work combines information models, sensing technologies and intelligent agents to improve safety, efficiency and lifecycle performance across the built environment.

The Keynote explores integrated systems to support decision making in the complex construction domain.
It presents the integration of BIM, IoT sensing, Digital Twins, agentic solutions and advanced technologies for human-machine cooperation to enable the control of dynamic processes across the construction life-cycle,
which requires scalable systems for interoperable, proactive and data-driven management.
It presents applications to construction safety, management of complex facilities and building renovation actions, construction production systems, and illustrates the transition towards safer, more efficient,
resilient and sustainable construction processes.

Giuseppe Carlo Marano is Full Professor of Structural Engineering at Politecnico di Torino and founder and head of the ArtIStE Research Group on Artificial Intelligence in Structural Engineering.
His research focuses on Artificial Intelligence, structural optimization, form finding, Structural Health Monitoring and advanced computational methods for structures and infrastructures.
He has held international academic positions at leading institutions including the University of Cambridge, Loughborough University, Hunan University and Fuzhou University.
Author of more than 300 scientific contributions and four European patents, he has an h index of 50 and more than 8,000 citations on Google Scholar.

The keynote presents recent advances in Artificial Intelligence and their transformative potential in structural and building engineering.
It focuses on machine learning, computational intelligence and AI assisted optimization for structural analysis, form finding and performance driven design.
Applications to Structural Health Monitoring, Digital Twins, data driven modelling and intelligent management of structures and infrastructures are also addressed.
The lecture highlights how the integration of mechanics, engineering knowledge and AI is reshaping the design of safer, smarter, more resilient and sustainable structures.
